HUBLI: The international conference on transformation in engineering education will be held at BVB College of Engineering and Technology (BVBCET), Hubli from January 16-18.
Indo-US Collaboration for Engineering Education along with the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies, the Global Engineering Deans Council and the American Society for Engineering Education are co-sponsors of this conference.
The conference is supported by TEQIP, a program of the government of India.
Speaking to TOI, Ashok Shettar, principal, BVB-CET, said that: “topics like challenges of engineering education in India, engineering education in the cloud, vision for engineering education in India, adopting methods for quality engineering education, engineers without frontiers, attributes of engineers & engineering education for the 21st centaury world will be discussed at the international conference.
“We are expecting about 300 leaders of engineering education from across the world to share best practices at this conference,” he added.
